Living in Cumberland I am so grateful for the opportunity to take part in saving a forest. The Cumberland Community Forest Society has been working to protect the forest that surrounds the village since the year 2000. It is an ecological project like no other, and it has been very successful in protecting to date 5 major land acquisitions totaling over 550 acres of forest. I am also so grateful for the trails and the trail builders that help us all explore this wonderful forest.

There are many forest guardians on Earth today and there are many forests that need our guardianship.  A forest guardian is anyone who loves and cares for the forests and takes part in protecting it. Are you a guardian of the forest too?

Hand painted design by Cindy Foley, then image transferred onto a T-shirt. The painting contains many of the creatures that live in the Cumberland Forest. There is Eagle, the little Western Toadlets, the Bats, the Mushrooms, the Wetlands, and even the Slugs and Forget-me-nots.

10% of profits from this design go directly to The Cumberland Forest Society. https://www.cumberlandforest.com/
